One Dragon

Sunday .. sunday.
No soccer today. Gf working.. Dunno wat should i do to kill my time.
Slept til 10am. I enjoy the feeling of waking up naturally rather than woke up by my hp.
Probably jz look at the Big organisations and gov sector which could be my next employer.
Ya i am just waiting for my result before taking my next step in my career.
I am looking to a organisation that provides personal development and career opportunities.
I dont just look at the dollar sign even though it is a important factor.
I prefer that i grow with the organisation.
The employer should have the mindset of investing in their human resources and to retain them.
I need to move on.. for the sake of career .. for the sake of myself .. for the sake of knowledge too.

Went for the NDP 09 Combined Rehearsal yesterday.
It was almost the actual thingy just that the VIPs and artise are not there.
Generally, the visual effects especially the lightings were great.
This year also involve the Apache, chinnok and water craft which brought the 'wow' to the spectators. The special thing would be the 21 salutation cannon fired off in Marina Bay waters instead of the usual grassland.
I would say not bad, i enjoy the show. Perhaps it is not the actual day so the real mood wasnt there.
Definitely, the fireworks is awesome.. it jz sparked off in the evening sky infront of you. Cool!

As i always say, this is the day when i felt i am proud to be a Singaporean.
A small red dot in Asia produces so many talents and we made our names around the globe.
Not forgeting we are competing against economic powerhouse like HK and Tokyo which are both few times much larger than us in terms of land.
Watching the parade made me recall the times i am part of the contingent. The pride, the effort.. the sweat pay off just for the show. No words can describe tat feeling unless u have the chance to stand in front of Singapore and perform.
I also recall the thoughts that i first wanted to join the civil service.
You can see how Sporeans are amazed by the SAF or civil services.
When SAF is in action, the 'wow' factor is always present.
Truly, i enjoy my days in the Uniform and sailor coveralls. No regrets. Gd experience.
Those fantastic memories will always be locked in my mind while i pursue other goals in life.
