One Dragon

Yesterday was my last sailing.
It is a inspection sailing with big bosses and squadron staff inspecting us.
Well a grand finale to my sailing career.
A good sailing, good drills and teamwork. We passed.
I bid farewell to few of my juniors and some crews who i am close with.
I wave goodbye, step out of the ship and .. my eyes were watery at the moment.
It is only 3 months in this ship but then the bond i built and the crews there were great.

5 yrs of Navy life.
If u asked me whether i regret joining the navy .. definitely a big NO.
I got to foreign ports ..
I got to see how the sea looks like ..
I got to play soccer with my colleagues in my previous ship ..
I got the cash and time to study ..
I got understanding chiefs and officer who willing to let me go for my exam/studies ..
I learn skills ..
Most imptly, i know lots of friends and colleagues .. a great bunch.
O so why the heck u wanna leave?
My ans is "I want to fulfill my dream cos i know what i want. I want to experience more"

5 yrs of work, now it is time to take a break .. a short one.
Will be flying Phuket today for my holiday. Take a rest and enjoy myself.
It is going to be a great trip and may the weather be on my side.
When i am back, my results for the last 2 paper will be out and job hunting begins!
My new career .. my new journey starts!

Just like a game of soccer:
Know what you want so that you know if you are closer to your goal.
Dribble slowly .. overcome your obstacles and eventually you will score.

The decommissioning of MGBs .. my previous platform. The fond memories, the bond of friendship and comrades and the happy working days in a tough envt .. are stored.. burned .. in my memory.
